Avoid using starchy vegetables like butternut squash and potatoes as they will turn mushy and be very difficult to filter out of your broth. Fill 5 cups with chopped veggies. 1. Add spring or filtered water to your chopped veggies sprinkle 1/2 tablespoon. salt. Bring to a boil for 15 minutes, skim off any scum, lower heat and simmer, covered for 1 hour. Remove from heat and pour through a fine strainer into a large bowl.

2. Let the broth stay and cool, then divide up the liquid into individual servings and freeze it in zip-lock plastic bags.

3. Veggies taste really good on their own or mixed with Chicken or Beef broth. 

4.When you’re ready to eat the soup, stir 1 tablespoon. of unrefined organic coconut oil, or organic butter to each serving of soup. Add sea salt to taste if needed.
